Quality Technician 1

Applied Composites (AC) is seeking a Quality Inspector 1 (Testing) who will be responsible for focusing primarily on preparation and bond work of test coupons. This position is responsible for preparation and testing of composite test specimens to support the manufacture of aerospace and space-based composite structures. Job Accountabilities Performs routine visual inspection of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies and subassemblies Use fixtures to accurately prepare and bond test coupons Use bandsaws and surface grinders Perform dimensional measurements Monitor thermal cycling Other responsibilities as assigned Job Specifications Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations. Years’ Experience: 0 - 2 years of relevant experience.
