Travelers do not need to have chemo certification and will not give chemo. Travelers must be ok caring for these patients.\n Patient Ratios:\n \n RN: Days: 1:5; Nights: 1:6 (critical surge 1:7-8)\n Required License, National Certification, Certs:\n \n RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ONS preferred but not required. Will allow travelers to give chemo if certified.\n Skills required:\n \n RN: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone – ask manager approval if no experience), general medical/surgical skillset – care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.\n Support within the Department:\n \n CNA (Ratios – 1:12) – patient care (ADLs/Vitals/Nutrition) and mobility\n Receptionist/HUC, 24/7 – able to validate EKGs\n Charge nurse\n Phlebotomy, 24/7\n IV/VAT Team, 24/7\n Pharmacist dedicated to unit\n Case Manager x 2 per unit\n MedSurg Clinical Nurse Specialist\n RT 24/7 – will perform Nebulizer treatments\n Nurse Educator\n Hospitalist, 24/7\n Telemetry monitoring/tech: Yes\n Technology/Equipment:\n \n EMR: EPIC\n IV Pump: Alaris\n Med dispensing: Omnicell\n Monitors: Phillips\n Rover Communication\n Hoyer lift\n Floating:\n \n Within region and scope of practice\n Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable\n Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main CMC Mercy Levine Children s Hospital)\n If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)\n Orientation (facility and unit):\n \n NEO\n 2 days departmental\n Other notes:\n \n Scrub Color:\n RN: Navy Blue\n CNA: Burgandy\n Parking: Free\n Unit Culture: New Unit that opened January 2025; welcoming, psychological safe culture, a just/fair culture\n \n \n #PCUnurse1\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID #26-31031.
