Labor and Delivery RN – Great Bend, KS | Evening/Night Shifts

Start Date: ASAP

End Date/Duration: Ongoing/Temporary

Shift: Nights, 7 pm – 7 am

Hours per Week: 36-40 hours

Employment Type: Full Time

License/Certifications: Kansas State Nursing License, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), PALS, BLS

Experience: New grads welcome! No specific experience required, but relevant certifications are a must

Hourly Pay Rate: $30 - $36.50 (based on experience and shift differentials)

Shift Differentials:

Evening (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm): $2.30/hour

Night (11:00 pm – 7:00 am): $3.75/hour

Weekend (Friday 7:00 pm – Monday 7:00 am): $3.00/hour

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit

Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals during labor and delivery

Administer medications and perform necessary procedures in accordance with hospital protocols

Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly

Support patient and family education before, during, and after delivery

Assist during emergency situations such as fetal distress or postpartum complications

Kansas State Nursing License

Active BLS certification (within 2 weeks of start)

ACLS, NRP, FHM, and PALS certifications (training provided if not current)

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passion for providing compassionate maternal care

Experience in Labor and Delivery or Maternal-Newborn Nursing
