We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver exceptional outpatient care in a collaborative clinical environment. Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Schedule:

• Full-time
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Work 3 weekdays each week
• One Saturday and one Sunday per month
• Permanent, Direct Hire

Qualifications:

• Current  Registered Nurse (RN)or  Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)license in the State of Kansas or Compact License required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN or LPN clinical experience required.
• Previous experience in  Urgent Care, Outpatient, Ambulatory Care, Emergency Department, or Medical-Surgical Nursing strongly preferred.
• Current  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent patient education and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and accurately document patient information.
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments according to provider orders.
• Start IVs (within scope of practice and licensure) and assist with intravenous therapies.
• Perform wound care, splinting, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures.
• Assist providers with minor procedures and examinations.
• Conduct point-of-care testing and collect laboratory specimens.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes promptly to providers.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Ensure exam rooms and clinical equipment are properly stocked, cleaned, and prepared.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care while maintaining urgent care workflow.
