Salary Range: $65,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Rockford seeking PLC Programmers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC programs and control systems.
• Configure and integrate HMI applications for operator interface.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to define system requirements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of control system components.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs and system configurations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming languages.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex PLC programs and automation systems.
