Industrial Sales Account Manager

Account Manager/Technical Sales person to design and execute a sales strategy for a territory, existing customers, and prospects to fulfill their requirements, and expectations from sale to implementation. Account Manager Duties: Manage accounts through strong relationships; develop a trusted advisor; be aware of their goals and challenges; stay connected Use all tools to prospect and then qualify the needs of an account while developing the customer/supplier relationship Use all tools and resources to gain and build on product knowledge, processes, and applications Increase product penetration in existing accounts; promotion and introduction of new products Know competitors, products, pricing, and marketing strategies Maintain historical customer records: contacts, projects, targets, goals, forecasts Ongoing review of financial targets and assessments Other Duties: Assist with annual physical inventory Requirements for Position: Education BA/BS degree or equivalent or three to five years of sales experience Interest in and aptitude for industrial processes and sales Customer/Client focus; results driven Strong sales and prospecting skills Ease in dealing with small job shops to multi-department, multi-plant companies Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Proficient communication skills; listening, verbal and written Strong presentation skills and professional appearance Willing to travel; have a clean and valid driver’s license Should be competent in problem-solving and decision-making Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively and be able to respond to different types of personalities CRM and/or database management system experience preferred Basic knowledge, skills and ability to navigate standard computer software Work Location: All authorized locations - Midvale offices or salespersons home office per assigned sales territory.
