CNC Lathe/Milling Set-Up/Programmer Our client is seeking a highly-skilled CNC Lathe/Milling Set-Up/Programmer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming and operating CNC Lathe/Milling machines, with a strong mechanical knowledge and background of various equipment and tools.

Duties:

• Interpret complex prints to program and machine parts from challenging materials on Okuma CNC turning centers
• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications
• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
• Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize manufacturing processes
• Maintain tooling inventory and ensure proper tool selection for each job
• Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste Requirements:
• 10 years of CNC machining experience
• 5 years of CNC programming experience
• At least 1 year experience with MasterCAM programming software
• Strong knowledge of lathe and mill tooling/inserts
• xhyhwjd Familiarity with GD&T principles for part inspection
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other various inspection equipment for quality checks
• Okuma conversational programming experience
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices
• Previous experience in tooling selection and maintenance
