Production Technician I/II/III - Days

AstraZeneca's Frederick Manufacturing Center seeks Production Technicians at three levels (I/II/III) to operate downstream processing equipment in biologic manufacturing. The role involves equipment operation, solution preparation, purification, formulation, cGMP documentation, and continuous improvement activities on a 12-hour rotating day shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate downstream processing equipment per established SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs
- Prepare solutions, perform purification and formulation tasks
- Execute cGMP documentation and utilize Manufacturing Execution systems
- Train on process equipment operation with qualified technician oversight
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement activities on production floor
Requirements
- High school diploma or Bachelor's degree depending on level
- 0–3 years experience depending on education and technician level
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on assigned tasks
- Compliance with cGMP standards and manufacturing protocols
- Computer skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Prior aseptic/cGMP and bioprocessing experience for Tech II/III
- Minimal oversight capability for Tech III role
Compensation: $56,072.00–$84,108.00 hourly
