Finance Manager

Job Description

Pacific Staffing is partnering with our Sacramento-based client to identify a Finance Manager to lead corporate budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical reporting. This role owns the operating budget, rolling forecast, and core financial models, turning manufacturing and project activity into actionable cost, margin, and cash-flow insights. The Finance Manager partners closely with executive leadership to deliver forward-looking financial guidance, support strategic decision-making, and drive process improvements across a growing, data-driven organization.

• Salary: $145,000-$160,000/year (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasting, cash-flow planning, capital planning, and scenario modeling.
• Analyze cost, margin, inventory, production variances, and project profitability to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Produce monthly management reporting packages, maintain core financial models, and support lender/board reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and Accounting to align financial insights with business activity.
• Present clear, concise financial recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of FP&A, financial analytics, corporate finance, or cost accounting experience; manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel expertise; strong experience with integrated three-statement models.
• ERP proficiency (Dynamics 365 F&O preferred) and Power BI required .
• Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, SQL, or Power BI modeling experience preferred.
