About Us

We are a growing international freight forwarding and logistics company specializing in air and ocean cargo transportation. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary

The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing cargo receipts, maintaining inventory accuracy, communicating with customers, and coordinating shipments between our warehouse and air/ocean departments. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics and warehousing.
• Experience using the Magaya software system is required.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with English as the primary business language.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Verify and document the receipt of all cargo arriving at the warehouse.
• Compare and verify cargo information received from shippers against warehouse records.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all cargo currently stored in the warehouse.
• Ensure all warehouse receipts are properly recorded and accounted for.

Customer Communication

• Report warehouse receipts and cargo arrivals to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers via email and phone.
• Send inventory reports and updates as requested.
• Request shipping instructions from customers when cargo is ready to move.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.

Shipment Coordination

• Review and verify that all warehouse receipts have corresponding commercial invoices before shipment processing.
• Upon receiving shipping instructions:
• • Prepare and organize the shipment file and documentation.
  • Confirm all required invoices and supporting documents are on file.
  • Coordinate the transfer of shipment files to the Air Freight or Ocean Freight Department for execution.

Team Support

• Assist the Air Freight and Ocean Freight Departments as needed.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure smooth cargo handling and shipment preparation.
• Support company operations to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight.

The successful candidate is proactive, dependable, highly organized, and comfortable communicating with customers daily. Experience in international shipping, freight forwarding, and warehouse operations is highly preferred.
