Training: 40 hours/week for 3 weeks

Position Overview

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a patient-focused clinical environment.

The NP will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to deliver comprehensive care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and disposition planning.

This is an in-person, patient-facing opportunity reporting to the Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Conduct routine examinations and appropriate diagnostic testing.
• Provide health counseling and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Support health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare.
• Manage patient appointments and patient follow-up.
• Assist with clinic opening/closing and inventory management.
• Verify insurance and collect payments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.

⏰ Schedule

Clinic Hours:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Training: 40 hours/week for 3 weeks

Actual working days and hours may vary based on clinic needs.

Unless otherwise noted, the position may require three out of every six weekends , along with possible holiday rotations.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in:
  • Family Medicine
  • Primary Care
  • Urgent Care
• Current NP license in the state of employment and in good standing.
• Master's Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Strong knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measurement.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility.
• Proficiency with healthcare information systems and technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure when required.

Candidates without prior Primary Care or Urgent Care experience should not be submitted.

The role includes accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
