Position Highlights

• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Position: Family Nurse Practitioner
• Schedule: Shifts vary Monday–Friday
• Weekday Shifts: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW)
• Training: 40 hours/week for 3 weeks
• Setting: In-person, patient-facing
• Start: Individual starts

Role & Responsibilities

As a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner, you will work alongside a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care, including:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Provide health counseling and disposition planning.
• Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventive care.
• Support health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Manage patient appointments and follow-up.
• Assist with clinic operations, including inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification
• Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
• Prior primary care or urgent care experience is mandatory.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to practice autonomously and work without direct supervision.
• Proficiency with information management and technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.

Candidate Submission Requirements

All MC NP/PA submissions must include the completed candidate questionnaire:

• Do you hold an NP/PA license within the state where you are applying?
• Is your NP/PA license in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions?
• NPI #
• Amount of primary care experience
• Electronic Medical Systems (EMS) used
• Upcoming planned time off
• Are you actively working with a CVS recruiter on a permanent role?
• Are you open to occasional travel beyond the applicable distance for float work, if necessary?
• Interview availability
• Availability to start a new position if offered

Required with submission:

• BLS from ARC or AHA is required

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
• Unless otherwise noted, positions require working three out of every six weekends , with possible holiday rotations.
• Prior CVS/Aetna experience is not required .
• This is an in-person, patient-facing role with onsite requirements as needed.
