Direct‑To‑Home – Full Time Installation Technician – Houston, TX The Installation Technician will provide expert installation, service, and troubleshooting of cutting‑edge smart home technology in customer homes. You will manage inventory, conduct routine maintenance, and create solutions that protect and simplify customers’ lives while driving sales of additional products and services. Responsibilities Earn piec​e‑rate pay and enjoy an unlimited commission plan. Become an expert on smart home technology through training on industry‑leading products. Manage inventory and assets with a business ownership mentality. Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes. Create solutions to protect and simplify customers’ lives. Conduct routine maintenance and inventory of company products and equipment. Explain detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers. Control income by providing opportunities for customers to purchase additional products and services. Leverage service and installation appointments into leads and revenue. Qualifications Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation. Ability to pass post‑offer background investigation and licensing requirements as required by law. Must live within a 20‑mile radius of Houston, TX. Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service‑based sales is a major plus. Customer‑first attitude and ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers. Technical aptitude; experience in cable/satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required. Physical Demands Lift and carry up to 45 lbs. Climb ladders up to 14 feet; carry tools to meet weight capacity requirements for company‑approved ladders (up to 375 lbs). Work in confined spaces such as attics.
