Overview Spanish Bilingual Licensed Practical Nurse The BEST work with us! $38.46-$39.83 per hour A nationally recognized comprehensive Health and Human Services Agency, with over 60 programs across New York City and the greater New York Area. Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the RN and/or Physician, the Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN will support providers in the provision of care including recording vital signs, administering methadone, discussing chief health concerns, performing testing, and assisting with procedures and documentation. Assesses, plans, evaluates, and delivers nursing care in collaboration with RN and/or Physician. Records and reports any spillage that may occur while dispensing a patient’s medication. Participates in the ongoing assessment of patient’s needs. Follows protocols for methadone dispensing as established by OASAS. Tallies medication sheet at the end of the day. Under the supervision of an RN, physically counts medication at the end of day closing. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. Graduate of a formal Technical or Vocational LPN Program. NYS LPN license. BLS certification. At least One (1) year experience as an LPN working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or in a similar working environment. Proficiency in Phlebotomy and EKG. Available to work a flexible schedule as needed in response to participant and staff needs. Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHR.
