Role Description The Salesperson role at Ultimo Motorsports is a full-time, on-site position based in Highland Park, IL. In this role, the Salesperson will greet and engage prospective customers, assess their needs, and guide them through vehicle selection and purchasing options. Daily responsibilities include conducting vehicle presentations and test drives, explaining pricing, financing, and warranty options, and preparing necessary sales documentation. The Salesperson will also follow up with leads, maintain ongoing relationships with clients, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience on the showroom floor. The role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of inventory, features, and industry trends to provide accurate, helpful information to customers. Qualifications Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to listen actively and respond professionally to diverse customer needs. Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience closing deals, handling objections, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to explain complex information clearly and confidently. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, follow-ups, and documentation efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working in an on-site retail or showroom setting, with a professional demeanor and polished presentation. Basic computer proficiency for using CRM systems, email, and dealership software; familiarity with automotive sales tools is a plus. Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or a client-facing role is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales, business, or related fields is an advantage.
