Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Confluent Rehabilitation, your primary duties will include:

• Directing therapy treatments tailored to each patient's needs, which involves evaluating motor functions and creating individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring or enhancing muscle function.
• Supervising physical therapy assistants to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans aligned with best practices.
• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' functional capacities using diagnostic tests to evaluate muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Assessing the home environment of clients to propose modifications that foster independence and support rehabilitation efforts.
• Performing and instructing clients in therapeutic exercises, demonstrating activities, and administering manual therapies such as traction and massage.
• Evaluating and modifying any prosthetic or orthotic devices per clients' needs in consultation with their physicians.
• Documenting and tracking patient progress meticulously, including preparing clinical records and reporting any changes in clients' conditions to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals during case conferences to ensure a holistic approach to each client's rehabilitation strategy.
• Providing advice and educating clients and families on physical therapy protocols, contributing to their understanding of the treatment process.

Qualifications

• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, with a preference for candidates who have experience in outpatient rehabilitation or home care environments.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Proficiency in understanding and adhering to federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.

Compensation and Benefits
