Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Physical Therapist will include, but will not be limited to, the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish effective treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic methods including exercise, stretching regimens, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clear therapeutic goals to facilitate patient recovery and promote optimal functional abilities.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking treatment responses, and adjusting therapy plans as needed to align with evolving patient goals.
• Provide patients and caregivers with education on exercise techniques, assistive devices, and self-care strategies to encourage independent living.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to maintain current knowledge of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve range from pediatric to geriatric populations, individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or dealing with chronic conditions. Your expertise will help empower these individuals to regain strength and mobility while working closely with them to meet their recovery goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and progress tracking.

Preferred Experience
