Lead Cloud Engineer / L3 Support (SME)

Salary: $120,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong experience with core Azure and AWS services
• Expertise in cloud networking and security concepts
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with AKS or EKS
• Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation
• PowerShell and Bash scripting skills
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Preferred: Active Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification
• Preferred: Experience in a Managed Services or CloudOps delivery model
• Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Preferred: Exposure to security and compliance frameworks, including CIS Benchmarks, Azure Policy, or AWS Config
• Preferred: Understanding of cloud cost optimization

• Provide L3 support for Azure and AWS cloud platforms, maintaining stability, scalability, security, and operational excellence
• Manage compute, storage, and networking services across Azure and AWS
• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions, including cross-region replication
• Design, enhance, and support landing zones; manage cloud subscriptions, accounts, policies, and governance
• Troubleshoot routing, VPN, DNS, and load-balancing issues, and manage services such as Application Gateway, Front Door, and ELB
• Execute cloud infrastructure changes using automation and scripts, following change-management processes
• Operate and maintain container platforms such as AKS, EKS, and Docker, including orchestration, scaling, and CI/CD integration
• Troubleshoot container deployments, cluster performance, and scaling to maintain availability and reliability
• Support cloud-native application services, including Azure App Services, Functions, AWS Lambda, and API integrations
• Manage event-driven and integration services across Azure and AWS
• Monitor application platform health, performance, and availability using tools such as Application Insights, Log Analytics, and CloudWatch
• Own platform stability and architecture decisions; troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement
• Lead major incidents and root-cause analysis discussions
• Mentor junior engineers and guide teams
• Advance automation and DevOps initiatives, and work with clients and stakeholders
• Support workloads related to Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock
