Ensures nurses are actively involved in decisions affecting their practice.* Maintains overall responsibility for ensuring the nursing standards of practice are adhered to for all areas of clinical care at Capital Health.## MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* **Education:** Master's of Science in Nursing Degree, or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree with relevant Master's Degree.* **Experience:** Ten years' nursing experience including three years' formal leadership experience over clinical department(s).* **Other Credentials:** Registered Nurse - NJ* **Knowledge and Skills:** Possesses competency in healthcare operations. Knowledge of regulatory bodies, NJDOH, CMS, NHSN, and ANCC Magnet Recognition Program. Ability to learn and navigate various internal and external systems applications and databases.* **Special Training:** Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in defining problems, data collection, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Must have excellent project management skills. Ability to interpret extensive amount of technical instructions, mathematical displays of statistical values.
