DMV Operations Specialist at Tesla

Position Summary: The DMV Operations Specialist plays an important role in ensuring Tesla's compliance with U.S. A. and federal regulations associated with car registration and titling. This role requires a meticulous individual with a proven record in DMV practices and excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate may be responsible for managing all aspects of DMV operations, including processing vehicle titles, registrations, and ensuring accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Registration and Titling: Process automobile titles and registrations effectively, adhering to all U.S. A. and federal guidelines. Document Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of documents submitted by clients and internal departments to ensure compliance with DMV requirements. Documentation Management: Prepare, assess, and position all critical files for vehicle registration and titling, including applications, affidavits, and supporting workplace artwork. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and filed in a timely manner. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to Tesla clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to vehicle registration and titling. Communicate efficiently with clients, dealerships, and internal agencies to provide updates on the status of DMV transactions. Compliance and Auditing: Conduct routine audits of DMV transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines. Identify and address discrepancies or problems in documentation or processes. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Tesla's finance, shipping, and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination of DMV operations. Collaborate with state and federal DMV offices to resolve any issues or questions related to vehicle registration and titling. Qualifications: Educational Background: High college degree or equivalent required. A partner's or bachelor's diploma in accounting, administration, or a related area is favored. Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in DMV operations, vehicle registration, or a related field.
