Base pay range $27.00/hr - $30.00/hr Job Title: General Operations Specialist Location: Research Triangle Park Job Overview The General Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing fleet management, landscape projects, and general maintenance across a 180-acre campus. This hands-on position combines outdoor work, contractor coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring the campus operates smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Fleet Management: Oversee vehicles, equipment, and powered industrial trucks (PIT). Campus Maintenance: Manage general maintenance and landscaping projects across the campus grounds. Outdoor Work: Engage in hands-on, outdoor tasks involving equipment care, maintenance, and coordination with contractors. Administrative Tasks: Use Microsoft products for maintaining records, inspections, and other necessary documentation. Coordination & Oversight: Collaborate with teams and contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely. Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with fleet management, landscape projects, and general maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to work outdoors and handle hands-on tasks.
