Senior Software EngineerFortune 500 insurance provider is looking to build a team to support their insurance benefit/claims management application and API. Must be in EST timezone. Remote will work, but would be great to find folks that can work hybrid in:Portland, MaineAtlanta, GeorgiaChattanooga, TennesseeColumbia, South CarolinaGeneral Summary:The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the overall design of an application suite that supports claims management, and ensures the delivery from the agile team meets agreed upon architecture standards. They lead the advancement of solutions within their business portfolio. They will be knowledgeable in third party/cloud solutions and lead successful integration of modern technologies. The Senior Software Engineer plays a critical role in leading software teams, mentoring software engineers of all levels and help grow future talent within the organization.This role will play a leading role in improving the interaction between the business and IT by identifying and developing strategic applications of IT. The role will be critical in the advancement of the architecture roadmap through innovative solutions.Position Summary:FINEOS developer or configurator with relevant experience of 8+ years and with experience of playing Senior Developer role successfully delivering software products in a complex, enterprise environment.Responsible for developing requirement specific extensions and configuration to the FINEOS product.Responsible for developing web service integrations and implementing solution upgrades.Exposure to working on different relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL and SQL query building.Responsible for proving guidance to the team members.Expert in Agile development/methodologies, Test Automation and TDD, CI/CD, DevopsExperience of working in distributed team environmentCandidate with experience of client communication in both technical and business terms would be given preference.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Required Skills: React, ETL, Java. Additional Skills: Software Developer, Database Developer. This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
