Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting in the execution of surgical procedures by setting up and organizing the operating room while ensuring safety and sterility
- Upholding sterile fields and adhering strictly to infection prevention standards
- Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants to facilitate smooth workflows
- Preparing and managing surgical tools and technology throughout operations
- Tracking inventory and ensuring the operating room is fully equipped before each surgery
- Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthetists, and surgical teams to provide top-tier care
- Maintaining accurate records and surgical counts for each procedure
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is necessary
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- A valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is essential
- BLS certification (or the ability to obtain it within 90 days post-hire)
- Thorough knowledge of surgical instruments and techniques across various specialties
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in fast-paced settings
- Capable of adapting priorities swiftly in response to the dynamic needs of the surgical environment
- Strong organizational skills with a meticulous approach to cleanliness and operational detail
- Competency in maintaining aseptic practices and sterile field management
