Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and meticulous reviews of their medical backgrounds
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging results and laboratory findings
• Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates with completed clinical rotations focusing on surgery

Certifications

• Unrestricted and current PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
