Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, determining the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address clients’ issues effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions, fostering lifelong learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients encompass a diverse group of individuals facing various mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, we provide support to marginalized groups including the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. As an LMFT, you will play a critical role in guiding these clients toward achieving their personal goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
