Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales Representative develops the company's commercial activity and progressively takes over the day-to-day sales workload as part of a planned three-year transition. The role is structured as a blend, with the main focus on sales development complemented by the sales operations linked to quotations, and it is designed for an early-career salesperson with strong potential and the ambition to grow with the company. The person will be trained and mentored by the Sales VP and the General Manager, and for the right candidate there is a clear growth path, potentially toward a Sales Manager position. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue quotations, trained on our products and processes. Manage RFQ intake and follow-up, keeping the quotation flow moving. Use the ERP system (ECI M1) and the AI-assisted RFQ tools for the quotation process. Coordinate with engineering and production on technical feasibility and lead times. Follow up with customers and develop relationships with existing accounts. Follow up on open quotations directly with customers, converting quotes into orders. Identify and develop new business opportunities, including support to the medical market development. Participate in customer visits alongside the Sales VP. Maintain market and competitor awareness, feeding the commercial strategy. Qualifications 1–3 years of sales, sales support, or sales engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Comfort with technical documents (specification sheets, technical drawings). Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ability to learn ERP systems and new digital tools quickly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ambition to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibility. Customer Orientation: Builds trust and follows through with customers. Ownership: Takes responsibility for the quotation flow and the sales pipeline. Technical Aptitude: Understands products, specifications, and feasibility constraints. Performance Indicators Quote conversion rate (quotes turned into orders). Quotation turnaround time (RFQ to quote issued). New business development (new customers and new opportunities generated).
