YOUR IMPACT
Lead the recruitment delivery for our Washington, DC office in the Atlantic region and create and implement strategies to achieve hiring needs, including oversight of awareness building and attraction activities. Lead and coordinate recruiting processes end‑to‑end—including application analysis, assessment and cultivation—for both campus and experienced professionals. Drive improvement initiatives for Washington, DC office recruiting efforts, focusing on diversity, local hiring and attracting exceptional talent to the community. Partner closely with McKinsey partners across the Atlantic and Washington, DC to scope hiring requirements and advise on best‑fit recruiting strategy, leveraging industry experience and market knowledge. Use data management skills, navigate systems, and provide regular and reliable reporting to leadership and recruiters within your team. Build networks with recruiting peers across the Atlantic and Washington, DC, and beyond; connect for knowledge building and best‑practice sharing, strengthening your global network and contributing to cross‑team projects. Partner effectively with recruiting support teams to ensure a streamlined interview experience. Act as a recruitment delivery role, interacting with candidates and consulting with them on careers in our Washington, DC office. Lead a team of recruiters in the Atlantic region, delivering recruitment and strategy setting for the team. Lead the expansion of the Washington, DC office across local and international campuses and early‑career professionals.YOUR GROWTH

5+ years of recruiting experience in‑house or recruiting agency, with solid exposure to campus hiring for the Americas region. Recruitment event management experience is a must. Prior experience leading small teams of recruiters and helping to define recruiting strategy with senior leadership. Ability to thrive working in a fast‑paced dynamic recruitment environment. Ability to take initiative and demonstrate comfort with ambiguity. Deep knowledge of modern recruiting skills, with a strong sourcing toolkit. Ability to create work product‑focused materials and outputs. Exceptional time management to meet responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment. To help you understand what you can expect, the salary range for new joiners in this role in the United States, including all office locations where the job may be performed, is $130,100 - $162,600 USD gross per year. This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary/hourly wages for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
