Responsible for planning and directing the organization's strategic and long-range goals. Conducts organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses and to evaluate financial effectiveness.**License Level:** This is a key level position and requires a key level position. This position has the ability to make discretionary decisions that impact gaming operations.**Essential Duties/Core Competencies*** Provides the executive team with up to date research on all financial analysis.* Develops financial strategies of operations in accordance with Company objectives and regulatory agencies.* As directed, works with the Finance Department, institutions, and legal counsel. Accountants, other professionals and executive management.* Identifies and manages the changes needed to support the new financial plan.* Establish meaningful reports and analytics that support the needs of internal executives and external shareholders.* Manages company-wide data requests efficiently.* Provides timely and accurate Forecast, and Month End Actual reports.* Implements standardized reporting to increase accountability and improve process flow and output.* Provides accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to managers and executives to increase cost management efficiency and effectiveness.* Collaborates with functional leaders to standardize monthly financial reviews and establish a more comprehensive forecasting and budgeting process.* Provides decks and analyses as required.* Provides financial and analytical support to all projects, reports, and tracking to ensure all committed synergies are implemented and realized.* Coordinates with the stakeholders to identify process changes in financial planning and analysis, revenue and cost accounting, data requirements and data capture for more useful business analysis and decision making.* Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.* Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.* Performs other tasks as assigned.* Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive.* Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success.* Demonstrates an understanding of the impact actions and decisions have on the Company both financially and on guest relations.* Demonstrates the courage and initiative to present new ideas and perspective to create positive results.* Exhibits respectful consideration of viewpoints, situations and other.* Advanced knowledge of financial field practices and procedures.* Experience in union operations and contracts.* Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with staff and superiors.* Strong supervisory and communication skills.* Must have working ability with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.**Work/Educational Experience*** Must be 18 years or older and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the applicable statute, rules and regulations.* Master’s degree or formal general business qualification such as MBA or a general management experience.* Seven (7) years’ relevant experience working with gaming industry with five (5) years’ in a management capacity.**Essential Requirements**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily. Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data.
