Accounting Lead / Staff Accountant (Direct Hire) Location: Corona, CA (Primarily Remote - 2 Days Onsite/Month, Subject to Change) Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM About the Opportunity We're seeking a detail-driven Accounting Lead / Staff Accountant to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing organization serving industries such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, and Semiconductor. This is a key role reporting directly to the Division Controller and acting as a critical point of coordination between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. What You’ll Do Lead & Support AR/AP Functions Oversee high-volume Accounts Receivable (billing, cash application, reconciliations, customer setup) Support Accounts Payable (invoice processing, vendor management, cash requirements, 1099s) Act as the go-to liaison between AR and AP team members Accounting Operations Assist with month‑end close, journal entries, and general ledger activities Prepare and review account and balance sheet reconciliations Ensure subledgers tie out accurately to the GL Collections & Compliance Support credit and collections efforts across internal teams and customers Assist with sales & use tax filings, audits, and compliance documentation Process Improvement Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and reporting accuracy Help standardize practices across multiple manufacturing locations What You Bring Experience & Leadership 5+ years of accounting experience Prior experience in AR, AP, in an accounting lead/supervisory role Ability to act as a team buffer and problem‑solver between functions Industry Knowledge Manufacturing experience required (multi‑site preferred) Technical Skills Strong accounting fundamentals (AR/AP, reconciliations, collections, 1099s) ERP experience required (Visual ERP a plus) Advanced Excel skills (V‑Lookups) Work Style Self‑starter comfortable working independently in a remote setting Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Process‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
