Job Overview Scribe/Ophthalmology Assistant in a physician‑owned, multi‑specialty ophthalmic practice located in Flemington, NJ. Salary is $28–$30+ per hour. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) and requires travel to three office locations. Responsibilities Assist physicians by accurately documenting real‑time interactions between physicians and patients. Communicate with patients to obtain medical history information. Document notes and other encounters in the electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring readiness for billing. Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including requesting/printing lab results or imaging, obtaining records, completing/sending correspondence, and ensuring availability of medications for patient visits. Ensure medications such as VEGF or Kenalog are present for physicians' patient encounters by understanding schedules and preparing in advance. Travel to three office locations Monday through Friday, maintaining a 40‑hour work week. Work mostly within an 8–5 schedule, with occasional Saturdays a year. Schedule and Hours Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (8–5 most of the time) with occasional Saturdays.
