Position Summary/Objective

The Knowledge Management Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing knowledge management systems, processes, and strategies across the organization. This role analyzes how knowledge flows through the organization, identifies gaps and inefficiencies, and develops solutions to improve knowledge capture, sharing and utilization.

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities

• Contributes to all knowledge management operations activities
• Builds and revises sites and site components
• Triages and resolves technical and user issues (may work with associates, delivery teams, vendors and customers)
• Maintains assigned content areas, and conducts site compliance audits
• May write and maintain user documentation and team standard operating procedures
• Participates in system/tool implementations, updates and upgrades
• Assesses organizational knowledge management needs and identifies improvement opportunities
• Conducts gap analysis to identify missing or inadequate knowledge resources
• Works with departmental leadership to create roadmaps for knowledge management initiatives and system enhancements
• Optimizes search functionality and content discoverability
• Works to integrates knowledge systems with other enterprise applications
• Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) for knowledge management
• Collaborates with business units to understand knowledge requirements
• Develops change management strategies for knowledge management adoption
• Ensures compliance with data privacy and security requirements

Competencies

• Proficiency with knowledge management platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing for clear, concise written and verbal communication with internal and external groups
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple deliverables simultaneously
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Knowledge Management, or related field. (Commensurate experience will be considered)
• 3-5 years of experience in knowledge management, information architecture, business analysis or related field
• Experience with Organizational Change Management
• Strong understanding of information architecture and taxonomy design
• Experience with content management systems and collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in knowledge management or information management (CKM, KMP, CKIM, etc.)
• Master's degree in Information Science, Knowledge Management or related field
• Workday experience
• Salesforce experience
• Knowledge of ITIL, Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks
