Catering Manager

We are adding an energetic, knowledgeable catering associate to our team! Essential Functions: Responsible for reading and understanding all event work orders to make an appropriate plan in order to execute the event and its timeline. Preparing and storing food safely before and during events Tracks and monitors labor and food cost for each catering event Maintains excellent verbal and written communication with all catering clients Alerts a manager to any potential problems: consistently monitoring standards and makes recommendations for improvements Ensures all post-event breakdowns and sidework are done correctly Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required Who we are: Taher, Inc. is a family owned and operated, chef-driven, food service management company providing K-12 school lunch management, campus dining, senior dining, corporate dining and catering, , and vending and office beverage services to clients in our growing nationwide footprint. Catering Director must be professional and presentable as dealing with school administration on a daily basis. There will be times when caterings will be some nights and weekends and will be required to work the catering. Strong leadership is required.
