Inside Sales/Customer Service
Our client, a reputable company specializing in construction products, is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales/Customer Service professional to join their team. As an Inside Sales/Customer Service representative, you will be an essential part of the customer support department, assisting both contractors and residential customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate friendliness, energy, reliability, conscientiousness, and a strong desire to learn about a wide range of products, contributing positively to the company's success.
Job Title: Inside Sales/Customer Service
Location: Fishkill, NY
Pay Range: $20.00/hr
Shift: Monday through Friday 7am-5pm and some Saturdays until Winter from 7:30am-12:00pm
What's the Job?
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, providing excellent service and support
- Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs and inquiries
- Utilize point of sale software and inventory systems to process transactions accurately
- Assist in showing products in the yard and navigating the inventory
- Support the team with various administrative tasks, including basic bookkeeping and accounts payable
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or related roles
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and basic accounting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new products and systems
- Physical ability to walk outside to the yard and upstairs to the office as needed
