Key Responsibilities Maintain and oversee material handling equipment (MHE) and facility equipment, such as Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems. Lead a team of service technicians and develop training plans, while overseeing vendors for planned and emergency repairs. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc. Create and close out work orders with data on labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used; develop job plans for emergency repair of critical assets. Physically capable of moving up to 49 lbs, standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climbing ladders and gangways safely, and performing regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head. Adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Basic Qualifications High school or equivalent diploma. At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Minimum of 4 years’ experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment. Minimum of 4 years’ experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics. Minimum of 4 years’ experience with electrical and electronic principles. Minimum of 4 years’ experience demonstrating safety standards. Minimum of 4 years’ experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE). Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree in Mechatronics or a related technical field. Experience leading engineering teams as a mentor or tech lead. Experience working with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM requirements. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with programmable logic controls (PLC) programming. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with robotics system components and controls.
