Responsibilities

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments to create personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance recovery outcomes
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress adhering to facility and regulatory standards
• Contribute to interdisciplinary conferences and care team rounds to ensure integrated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensing as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Strong preference for previous experience in physical therapy
• Able to address complex medical conditions and mobility challenges
