Position Overview The Emergency Department/Acute Care Technician (EDAT) is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). The EDAT works in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care, is a valued member of the patient care team, and functions under the direction of the RN. Estimated pay range for this position is $20.02 - $26.03 / hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Work in close collaboration with an assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient care. Serve as a valued member of the patient care team and function under the direction of the RN. Qualifications High School Diploma, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper. Certified Nursing Assistant. Emergency Medical Technician. Paramedic. Basic Life Support (BLS). Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support required, PALS per entity standard. Minimum Required Experience: 2 Years.
