Data Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:Work cross-functionally with various teams to help solve operational challengesDevelop business reports that provide insight into key data pointsCollect data and perform accurate analysis for various types of business reportsCreate and manage project plans to effectively communicate progress towards operational goalsHave an understanding and capacity to utilize BI tools such as preferred Power BI and BI reportingDevelop best practices for how to operationalize manual work with a focus on scale and efficiencyPerform data analysis daily on existing operations work to measure and report on quality and productivity of workflowsManage operational workflows directly with internal key stakeholders providing support for any questions or problems as they arise in real-timeDevelop and suggest process and performance improvements with product managers and other key stakeholders to improve workflowsResponsible for the development and rollout of new workflows working side by side operations teams to test new pilotsCommunicate daily metrics and progress towards operational goals to internal business stakeholders as well as vendor managementIdeal Candidate Qualifications:1 to 3 years of experience as a data analyst in prior professional organizationOrganizing people and activities; understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow; knows what to measure and how to measure itCan see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can't - can simplify complex processes; gets more out of fewer resourcesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to deliver clear and succinct interpretations of extensive research in a manner accessible to all relevant teamsAnalytical skills that support the development of data-driven reportsExperience creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data toolsDedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customersLearn quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvementCapability to validate and explain trends and results compared to outlined success metricsPick up on technical things quickly; is good at learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledgeProficiency in manipulating data sets in SQL or equivalent and drawing insights from dataMust be organized, positive, proactive, and results-orientedExperience with BI tools; preferably Power BICan effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortablyUse rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answersStrategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, as well as capability to work effectively in any given team environment
