Data QA Analyst

A large financial services organization is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support a growing cyber data and analytics environment. This role is focused on validating data quality, testing ETL workflows, and ensuring the reliability of data pipelines and dashboards used by internal stakeholders.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong QA fundamentals with hands-on SQL and data validation expertise. The role will partner closely with technical teams to test data as it moves through multiple layers of a modern enterprise data platform, identify defects, and help improve overall testing rigor.What You’ll TackleDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business and technical requirementsValidate data across ETL processes and multiple layers of a modern data architecturePerform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testingAnalyze source and target data sets to identify inconsistencies, outliers, and transformation issuesDocument, report, and track defects while partnering with developers on resolutionSupport QA efforts tied to enterprise dashboards and reporting outputsMaintain testing documentation, traceability, and regression coverageParticipate in agile ceremonies and contribute to QA process improvementsWhat You Bring7+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or data-focused systems analysisStrong SQL skills including joins, CTEs, reconciliations, and data validation techniquesExperience testing ETL pipelines, warehouse loads, or data integration workflowsAbility to scrub, analyze, and validate large data setsExperience creating and executing structured test plans and regression scenariosFamiliarity with JIRA or similar test / defect management toolsUnderstanding of SDLC and Agile / Scrum methodologiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
