Overview
Registered Nurse – OB/GYN travel assignment in Mauston, Wisconsin. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks, with weekly pay range $1,983–$2,101 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:30 am). Work will occur in a short-term acute care setting and an outpatient clinic, focusing on maternal and newborn care.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for maternal and newborn patients, collaborating with the care team to implement the plan of care.
- Complete initial assessments, triage patient needs, monitor labor progression, and manage induction and cervical ripening as appropriate.
- Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies (e.g., prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage) and support safe delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rate and fetal status, maintaining accurate monitoring and intervening within scope as indicated.
- Assess and manage maternal conditions such as hypertension and diabetes; monitor newborn status and provide education on newborn care; communicate status changes to the provider.

Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license (must hold and maintain).
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Certifications: AHA BLS within 1 month of hire; NRP within 6 months; STABLE within 1 year; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year.
- Experience: OB/maternity care experience is expected to align with obstetric/nursery patient needs; strong attention to detail and computer proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OB/GYN setting and to fulfill night-shift requirements.
