Talent, Culture and Engagement Specialist (HR)

Role Description The Talent, Culture and Engagement Specialist is a full-time (or part-time), hybrid role based in Westerville, OH. This position is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance feedback processes, and offboarding. The role focuses on building a positive workplace culture by coordinating engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications that strengthen connection and collaboration across the firm. Daily responsibilities include partnering with leadership to identify talent needs, updating HR policies and procedures, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and firm standards. The Specialist will also gather and analyze employee feedback, recommend improvements to HR and culture initiatives, and support training, development, and well‑being programs that help team members grow and succeed. Qualifications Experience in HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and record management. Skills in culture-building and engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, internal communications, and event coordination. Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards relevant to professional services organizations. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the firm. Ability to analyze data from surveys and HR metrics and translate insights into practical recommendations. Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar tools). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
