As a mental health counselor at Healthy Wave Counseling Center, you will leverage telehealth platforms to connect with clients, conduct evaluations, and lead therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through telehealth consultations, documenting findings meticulously from the initial interview to the conclusion of the treatment process. \n Evaluate clients' emotional, behavioral, and mental health to tailor individualized treatment approaches. \n Develop and implement therapeutic intervention and recovery plans for diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. \n Facilitate engaging therapy sessions both individually and in group formats, employing various therapeutic modalities to enhance client engagement and outcomes. \n Monitor clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, regularly revising treatment plans based on observed changes and feedback. \n Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care. \n Manage referrals and follow-ups with other specialists to ensure comprehensive treatment continuity. \n Identify and mitigate potential barriers to recovery, empowering clients and their support systems to navigate challenges effectively. \n Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental and behavioral challenges experienced by their loved ones. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our counseling services cater to a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing different mental health issues. This role is particularly focused on individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your experience and expertise will allow you to guide clients through their personal struggles, advocate for their needs, and foster an environment of healing and growth.
