A Chicago-based litigation practice is seeking an attorney to join its Construction and Design Professional Liability practice. Candidates with 5+ years of experience are preferred, although attorneys with approximately 3+ years of highly relevant experience will be considered. Responsibilities Handle construction litigation and professional liability defense matters. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and written analysis. Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation. Communicate directly with clients and assist with litigation strategy. Qualifications Construction litigation experience required. Professional liability defense experience involving architects and engineers preferred. Strong writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
