We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to lead and implement content strategy for our Fastening brands (nVent CADDY and nVent LENTON) within the Electrical Connections segment. This role centers on developing campaign-aligned content and translating technical input into clear, accessible messaging. The ideal candidate works effectively with engineers and product teams to make complex topics approachable while maintaining technical accuracy.
**** This is a full time, direct-hire position with a hybrid work schedule of 4 days/week on-site in Solon, OH. ****
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Develop and deliver content strategies aligned to business marketing plans and global campaigns, connecting audience needs, buyer journey stages, and New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
Create and lead high-quality, on-brand content across formats—including articles, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, landing pages, email, and social media, while maintaining consistency in voice and messaging.
Partner closely with technical subject matter authorities (engineers, product managers, and solutions architects) to interpret and communicate technical information in a way that resonates with industrial and engineering audiences.
Manage the global editorial calendar, ensuring consistency across regions and marketing channels while upholding brand standards and supporting campaign priorities.
Improve performance through SEO and AEO principles, on-page optimization, and the use of AI-enabled tools to scale and refine output.
Monitor and evaluate content performance (engagement, traffic, conversions), using insights to refine direction, support decision-making, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
Ideally 3-5 years of marketing experience, including at least 1 year focused on B2B content marketing. Data center, industrial technology, or electrical infrastructure market experience a plus.
Experience translating technical concepts into clear, relevant content for business or technical audiences.
Experience supporting product launches or commercialization efforts (NPI or similar).
Working understanding of SEO or AEO principles and content optimization, including keyword research and on-page tactics preferred.
Strong communication and writing skills, with sound editorial judgment and attention to brand voice.
Ability to lead multiple concurrent priorities and collaborate across globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with CMS, marketing automation, CRM, project management tools, and digital asset management systems; such as Marketo, Salesforce, Monday.com, or JIRA preferred.
