Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience or interest in working within school environments
• Understanding of pediatric therapy or willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable approach to care
• Strong time management and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 30-minute physical therapy sessions to students two times per month, addressing individualized needs
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that support each student’s physical development and academic participation
• Collaborate with classroom staff, special education teams, parents/guardians, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach
• Accurately document treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school and licensure standards
• Contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings as needed by providing insight and recommendations
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports students’ confidence and independence
