What You’ll Do for Our Patients Collaborate with medical providers and medical assistants through a variety of patient care management tasks, exercising professional judgment to provide health care services, including applying x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment for patients of all ages. Essential Functions Perform and analyze patient x‑rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety. Prepare patients for examination, conduct interviews, record medical history, and evaluate vital signs. Perform point‑of‑care testing as needed and provide results to providers. Maintain medical records, scan charts, conduct follow‑up callbacks, and document daily equipment controls. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive maintenance of X‑ray equipment; submit repair tickets as needed. Collaborate with ordering providers to determine optimal procedures and views. Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and answering questions. Adhere to radiation safety protocols, applying ALARA principles. Job Requirements Education: High School Diploma required; ARRT certification required. Experience: Experience in a clinical setting preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire; ARRT registration required. Knowledge X‑ray procedures and protocols. Anatomy and physiology relevant to X‑ray testing, including body mechanics. Radiology equipment safety hazards. Skills Proper patient positioning for X‑ray procedures.
