ICU Registered Nurse – Critical CareShe Recruits is representing a well-established hospital seeking a committed and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join their critical care team. This is an ideal role for an experienced ICU or progressive care nurse who thrives in high-acuity environments and values teamwork, patient advocacy, and evidence-based practice.As a key member of the Intensive Care Unit, you'll provide life-sustaining care to patients with complex medical conditions, while ensuring their dignity, comfort, and safety throughout treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesApply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient careMonitor patients' physiological and psychosocial responses, taking appropriate clinical action as neededMaintain accurate documentation and uphold strict patient privacy standardsServe as a patient and family advocate, ensuring compassionate communication and informed decision-makingCollaborate in quality improvement initiatives to advance care standards and outcomesDeliver exceptional service to patients, families, and internal team membersMaintain regular, punctual attendance and a commitment to dependable care deliveryPerform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadershipQualificationsActive RN license in the state of practice (or compact license)Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferredMinimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (or 2 years of PCU experience strongly considered)BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of employmentCompensation & IncentivesAnnual Salary Range: $65,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience)Night Shift Differential: +$4.25/hourWeekend Differential: +$2.00/hourSign-On Bonus: $15,000 for qualified candidatesRelocation Assistance: Considered on a case-by-case basisFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and retirement plansThis is a rewarding opportunity to join a high-performing ICU team where your critical thinking, compassion, and clinical skill make a meaningful difference.
