About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Human Resources to lead a strategic and transformational HR initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for the next phase of the HR Next transformation, with a focus on enhancing the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of HR services, processes, and systems. This role requires a visionary leader with a people-centered approach, who can lead organizational change management efforts, develop and maintain trust and transparency, and empower a talented HR team. The AVP will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence in customer service, and will work to ensure strategic alignment with the needs of the university community. Candidates for the AVP-HR position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' progressive leadership experience, a passion for supporting diverse workforces, and a proven track record in leading HR teams through transformation. The role demands a leader who is a systems thinker, adept at leading change management, and improving business process efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a visible and accessible leader, with strong communication skills, and experience in strategic planning, project leadership, and organizational development. A focus on implementing best practices in all aspects of HR is essential, as is the ability to support creative and efficient talent acquisition strategies.
