In your time at the elementary school, supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students in both 1:1 and small group settings, you’ll gain valuable exposure to innovative educational practices and leadership styles, enhancing your skill set and making you a more versatile interpreter. Qualifications:

• At least a 3.0 EIPA score or higher
• Eligible to work on-site (no virtual or VOCO arrangements)
• Completion and clearance of FL fingerprinting requirements; JLA badge needed (processing may take up to 10 business days)
• Previous experience in an educational setting, especially with DHH students, preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation for DHH students (primarily elementary age)
• Work 1:1 as well as with small groups to support student understanding and engagement
• Collaborate with educators and staff to foster an inclusive learning environment
