Summer Seasonal Team Player (Sales Associate) - Ontario

Requisition ID 75936 – Temporary Part‑time Sales Associate – California Retail (AAC-CA-FO) ASICS is seeking temporary, part‑time sales associates for the summer season (May 18, 2026 – August 28, 2026). Candidates should be personable, energetic, highly organized and hardworking, and available for flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and extended hours. Position Purpose / Summary Statement The Team Player will deliver a great client experience by assessing customer needs, providing product education, and engaging communication to create a personalized shopping environment. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet customers and assess needs to provide an exceptional shopping experience. Describe footwear and apparel technology to ensure informed purchasing decisions. Recommend, select, and locate merchandise based on customer needs. Maintain knowledge of sales, promotions, and store policies regarding purchases, exchanges, and returns. Demonstrate features and benefits of footwear and apparel to maximize sales goals. Watch for and recognize security risks and theft; know how to prevent or handle these situations. Maintain store appearance by straightening, sizing, and refolding merchandise to create an exceptional shopping experience. Support processing of shipment and merchandise by sensoring, repricing, and filling the sales floor with product to sell to customers. Retrieve product from the floor, back‑stock, and/or up‑stock using provided equipment as needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) and their application. Professional and respectful conduct with customers and employees. Ability to complete tasks accurately, timely, with attention to detail. High sense of urgency. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs. Must have own transportation to travel to assigned store. Willingness to work as part of a team and complete work independently when required. Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance. Noise levels moderate. Pay Transparency The posted pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.75 hourly.
