Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced TerritorySales Manager to manage and grow sales throughout New Jersey . This is a home-office-based position requiringregular travel throughout the territory. The ideal candidate will have a proventrack record of sales success, preferably selling construction, manufacturing,building, or other specialized products. Experience selling to both businesses and consumers is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Developand manage sales throughout the New Jersey territory. Meetwith residential contractors, builders, developers, dealers, andhomeowners to identify opportunities and understand customer needs. Presentproducts and solutions professionally, including onsite customerpresentations. Identifyand qualify prospective customers through research, networking, referrals,cold calling, and other business-development activities. Developnew business while maintaining and expanding existing customerrelationships. Manageand monitor projects to help ensure construction and installationactivities meet company specifications and applicable code requirements. Keepcustomers and prospects informed about product modifications,enhancements, and new offerings. Representthe company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events whenapplicable. Maintainaccurate customer account records, including contact information and salesopportunities. Preparesales and marketing reports and maintain accurate expense records. Consistentlyperform the daily prospecting, customer meetings, follow-up,presentations, and account-management activities necessary to maximizesales performance. Workclosely with internal teams and other company resources to provide anexceptional customer experience. Qualifications Required 2–3years of proven successful sales experience. Demonstratedhistory of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Strongprospecting and business-development skills. Excellentcommunication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-buildingabilities. Abilityto work independently from a home office. Strongorganization, time management, and follow-up skills. Validdriver's license and ability to travel throughout New Jersey. Strongand consistent employment history with demonstrated tenure. Preferred Background Experience selling any of the following is highly desirable: Constructionproducts Manufacturingproducts Buildingmaterials Windowsand doors Elevatorsor other specialty construction products Otherniche or specialized products Experience with B2B and direct-to-consumer sales ispreferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-orientedsalesperson who enjoys developing relationships and generating newbusiness. You should be comfortable prospecting, making cold calls,meeting customers in the field, conducting presentations, managing activeprojects, and developing long-term relationships with contractors, builders,dealers, developers, and homeowners.
